I'm a serial killer. Driven by a need to satisfy some dark part of my soul. I never seem to get caught, I could slip in and out of the shadows without anyone ever knowing. I've perfected my technique, so that I can kill without leaving a trace. It's a bit like a game for me, and I'm sure nobody will ever catch me.
~ Rine Wisteria's quote
I'm a serial killer. I'm careful in my execution, staying one step ahead of the police and outsmarting them every turn. I enjoy the challenge, and the sense of power that comes from knowing I'm smarter than the people chasing me. I'm proud of my work and take pride in being the best at what I do.
~ Sue Wisteria's quote
The field of tombstones was covered in darkness, with only the dim lights of street lamps to illuminate it. Tall treetops and palm branches swayed slightly in the wind, following the rapid rhythm of breathing. The street in the night holds deadly secrets.

Plotline (Reboot 2023)[]

PART I: A WONDERFUL CHILDHOOD[]

Rine and Sue Wisteria are twin sisters born on May 5, 1982, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They were born with their parents' complete love. A newly born twin is always accompanied by the entire family's dreams and hopes. Nobody can identify who is who just by looking at them. Betty's eyes were filled with joy and expectation as she gazed at the newborn twins. The mother's eyes are filled with loving and concern, gleaming like warm beams of sunshine in sync with Arthur, the father, who is quietly touching his children.

Our Wisteria twins are growing up as fast as the wind. Their parents place them in an engaged educational atmosphere from an early age and encourage them to study, discover, and develop their own skills. Sue gradually displayed her extraordinary ingenuity; she could dismantle any object and properly reassemble it without leaving any damage, and she could even create a comparable object and fix it. Her room has a toolbox in the corner. This is understandable given that their father, Arthur, is an electrical engineer. Rine, on the other hand, had a charm and a clever way of speaking inspired by her mother, her mother – Betty was a journalist; Rine also had a gorgeous sense of humor, one of her bad tricks was lying, she could lie very persuasively, once she called 911 and they almost went to the house.

Mischievous is that, but Rine knew when to stop, she understood the consequences she could endure,.The children have grown up since they were young. They were both 10 years old back then. Every night, in their memory, the whole family will gather around the fireplace, tell each other about their day, tell horror stories under the candle or watch movies and favourite matches together. Before going to bed, they always get the best wishes from their parents and sincere kisses on the forehead. Those are always the most beautiful days imprinted in the children's memories; every day is always a fun family party in a small but warm house. But which party doesn’t end?

Part II: THE RISE OF DEVIL[]

It was the summer of 1996, and the children were 14 years old at that time. Betty and Arthur were lucky to overcome the economic recession that lasted through the two presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan (1977–1989). They had to face the economic recession of the late 1990s again. In that year, with no more small pleasures like hanging out together, Betty and Arthur faced unemployment, which forced them to search for jobs. a new job, the two began to be busy finding themselves jobs and a suitable place to work to take care of the family's economy. The two girls can now only stay at home and be friends. The impact of the recession left Rine&Sue abandoned in their own home, the two little girls were having the summer holiday as friends of the same age. They often run to the neighbor's house; Mr. Julian currently lives alone, and behind his house is a small garden with cute little ducks that make them very happy.

Julian is an old man in his 60s with a kind face and stooped gait. His back door always welcomes small guests, and he loves gardening and always decorates it beautifully, attracting the attention of nearby children. Rine and Sue showed great interest when looking at the garden statues of dwarfs and plump and lovely pumpkins on carpets of green leaves. The cutest are the ducklings with smooth and lovely yellow feathers. Rine and Sue, the two of them watched the ducks until they got bored and then returned home. They thought the ducklings were so small, and there was an indescribable feeling in them; they didn't want to stop by just looking at the ducks. Sue was the first to start, telling Rine about a "little experiment" she wanted to do with a little duck, and Rine agreed to it. The next afternoon, as usual, while playing with the ducks and while Julian was dozing off in his rocking chair, Rine catched a duckling and went home with Sue.

Immediately after getting the little duck, Sue and Rine played with it by repeatedly throwing the poor little duck against the wall every time the duck showed signs of dizziness and then ran. Finally, unable to take it anymore, the duck became immobile. At first, the two of them panicked, but gradually, they enjoyed the fun; they secretly caught more innocent ducklings just for "fun". Day by day, the ducks in the cage became less and less strange. By the time Julian noticed this, it was too late; Rine and Sue had almost killed most of the ducks while their parents were away. Other than the twins, there were other children who flocked to see the garden, but Julian noticed the twins because, other than their eyes filled with fascination with the ducks, no one but them could have. Julian raised doubts and decided to tell their parents, and it was the worst decision Julian have ever made. After going over to the house to talk to Betty and Arthur, they called the sisters out to talk. Julian's expression changed from happy and polite to shocked and alarmed as he watched tears run down Rine's cheeks. She kept crying and repeatedly giving evidence in her favor, saying that the ducks are so cute they will never touch them. She also mentioned the fierce dog of the opposite house and even pointed out that because he always dozed off so the unfortunate thing happened to the ducks. All the evidence Rine presented was against Julian. In addition, he did not have any evidence to accuse the two girls. The two put together the best play he had ever seen and fabricated it at every opportunity. The parents of the two girls also believed in their daughter.

Finally, after the entire Wisteria family and Mr. Julian went to the neighbor's house opposite to talk about the ferocious dog, the truth came out. They found some duck fluff by the side of the dog house and some duck carass in the cage. They apologized and gave some money to Julian. But Julian did not see that; his instinct told him that the twins were the masterminds of his innocent ducklings, and he had always been very upset about this. What Julian remembers most is the doll-like eyes of the children when they last looked at him when they were brought home by their parents, their eyes blank and lifeless. And the shape of Sue's mouth is what made him wary of children later: "Pumpkin," she said. After Julian got home and thought to himself, he suddenly grabbed the handle of a kitchen knife and slashed at the pumpkin where the twins used to play with so close to the duck house. Inside the stuffed pumpkin is full of duck carcass.

Since then, Julian no longer opens the back door, and the Wisteria twins no longer stop by as usual. He moved house in July of the same year. And that was just the beginning of the horrors to come. They began to torture other small animals and insects, like mice and butterflies, with the most barbaric tricks, as if they had no humanity in them. However, they never touch other pets, such as dogs and cats. And each time, Sue cleaned the scene and left no trace of suspicion in the most intelligent and logical way to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past. And of course, Rine also knew she couldn't lie too much; she tried with Sue to hide it. Both still show no signs of stopping it. Betty and Arthur have found places to accept them, and their jobs have become more and more stable. They always spend every night playing with the children, as if going back in time. Thanks to that, Rine and Sue also stopped killing small animals and received more love from their parents. Soon, the first day of school came, and Rine and Sue also grew up.

Part III: STEPS AND TRAGEDIES[]

Two years later, that is, in October 1998, both have turned 16 years old. Sue has become quieter; she is busy with her creative passion and is always praised by her classmates in class. She especially won the second prize in the science fair organized by the university with the invention of a manual water purifier. Rine also attended East High School, the same school as Sue. The two are not in the same class but are very close. With identical looks, the two can replace each other at any time and often play tricks whenever they pass each other's class. With a talent for intelligence, ingenuity, and wit in her speech, Rine has quite a few friends in her class. Everything was great at that time, until Betty, the children's mother, found out Arthur was having an affair. It was the last days of autumn, after a series of suspicions about Arthur's unusual behavior when he came home later than usual. He had a habit of startling when children or his wife approached, and his clothes were always ragged and smelled of perfume that did not belong to Betty, among other indications. Betty found out early on, and she alone had to struggle with reality and accept the fact that her husband had sex with a woman other than her.

The day the divorce court ended was also the day everything was decided. The rift in the family has made the twins see an unacceptable truth. The children realize that the road ahead is no longer a story together. They look sad and depressed, looking at each other with sad eyes. They really hate their father and the woman who broke their once very happy family. Now each of them has to split into two forks. Betty is assigned to raise Sue, and Arthur is assigned to raise Rine. After the trial, the sentence was carried out. Rine was used to living with her mother and her twin sister; now she has to live with her father. Day by day, Sue had to watch her mother cry and suffer from depression. Betty switched from taking drugs to stimulants such as alcohol and sometimes illegal drugs. Sue notices the stinging needles and bruises on Betty's arm; her mother's condition is worsening as she has to work for a living while taking drugs. After the divorce, their father did not allow the two sisters to see each other, but they still met at school, and that was also a golden time that the two of them shared and exchanged information with each other besides using the phone.

On Rine's side, all she received was estrangement from her father; Arthur never came home but sometimes just gave Rine food for a while, then locked the door and locked her in the house, and then left. Rine felt a terrible emptiness that she had never had before; she hated reality. The time when Rine felt like she was relived was going to school, socializing, teasing Sue, hanging out with friends, and doing things she enjoyed. Every time she goes to school, Rine has to beg for help from the neighbors to open the door. She is helpless, feels that everything is not as it was before, and has no motivation to live except for her twin sister. The academic performance of the two children gradually declined, but not too badly. The psychology of the children underwent a complicated change due to the divorce of their parents.

It all continued the same every day until 1999, when the two were 17 years old. Betty began to fall seriously ill; she died on March 12 at a nearby hospital. Betty's loss sparked the children's madness later on. After their mother's funeral, they hugged each other to comfort each other, but after learning that they will have to have a new guardian, none other than Arthur, he is also about to take a new wife, which means Sue will be living under the same roof as Rine and is under the pressure of their step-aunt. Sue didn't want this to happen, and just like with her, neither did Rine. Rine and Sue begin to concoct a scheming and daring plan. They will leave here and start a new life, but before they go, to avenge their mother, They took drugs from the old house that Betty used to use; she hid them in the kitchen cupboard where no one could see them, including doses of cocaine and heroin. Rine and Sue immediately went home, and while Arthur was sleeping, they printed his fingerprints on the jar and used gloves to put it in the closet in the corner. After that, the two snuck away in the night with the huge amount of money they had saved and plundered from their father's safe. Sue used a voice transducer to call a police officer in a mature female voice and denounce her father.

The police arrived at the provided location and quickly arrested Arthur for possession of a drug. Although Arthur had been detained before, he was also very quickly released. After investigating public cameras, the police discovered the suspicious movements of the Wisteria twins: going into and out of the house, taking drugs, and disappearing into the night. Instead of putting Arthur in custody, they caught the attention of the police, and now they are focused on hunting them down. But that's also what they want. Attention. After getting the attention of the police, the twins disappeared for a while in preparation for a series of crimes later.

Part IV: RECOGNIZED CRIMES[]

Letters cut from newspapers

Not long after, on the morning of April 2, neighboring police were informed of a body at the foot of Platte Bridge. The identity of the body is Charmy Ford. Charmy Ford (Female, 22 years old) is a DJ for a bar. At 23:00 PM on March 27, she was driving home from the bar and stopped at an area near Platte Bridge to smoke when she was attacked. The twins fatally stabbed her and threw her body at the foot of the bridge, driving her car away. That's why the police found tire tracks on the ground. The person who found Charmy's body was a resident who lived nearby. At the scene, in addition to the knife slashes, police and forensics found dents from being hit by a crowbar on Charmy's head and pieces of paper stuffed into the victim's body. The letters are: I, W, E, S, R, A, and T. After collecting all the pieces of paper and making sure that they didn't miss any pieces, along with a combination of the previous information, The police turned their eyes on the twins and indicated that this was a robbery murder. They began to wonder, Why did they do that? And what is their real motive? The disappearances and the found bodies are increasing day by day, and there are similarities with the case of Charmy Ford. The victims with similar killing methods are Sylvia D'Angelo (Female, 20 years old, part-time employee), Thea Valle (Female, 19 years old, pizza delivery), and Howard Javier (Male, 23 years old, waiter).

Sylvia was found on April 23 in Washington Park by a jogger nearby. When she discovered the body, she screamed until she called the police. Thea's body was found on July 14 next to a tree near the moorland by a farmer. Javier's body was the strangest when he was thrown in the trash in a half-inside, half-outside position; an environmental worker found him. The above unfortunate victims were killed with the same method and were not much different from Charmy Ford, except for the location where the body was found, and most of the victims had their valuables stolen, such as bags, purses, wallets, credit cards, watches, and some other jewelry. And the pieces of paper are still in their bodies. While the police and forensics are still having headaches because the locations of the bodies are unrelated and far apart, so determining their locations is really troublesome, it seems that every move of them is all one step ahead of the police. No one can accurately predict their direction, and while the media is beginning to worry about the cruelty of the twins, all their speculations have come to a dead end. However, the worries and prayers of the resident were not in vain because not long after that, in the early 19th century, in the year 2000, there were no more murders with similar tricks.

Part V: DISAPPEARANCE AND RECORDS[]

The twins appear to have gone silently and show no sign of returning. The story of the problematic twins has begun to fade into oblivion. According to an old note from a detective named Scott Chase, who worked on the Wisteria case and once encountered the twins, he wrote: "I have never met them, but I guess they may have suffered from dementia or ASPD (antisocial personality disorder), and one of the two may also have suffered from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), which is also not difficult to predict after the death of their mother. There was a man named Julian, and he gave me a lot of useful information for my investigation. Both have probably suffered from psychological problems since childhood. I once met one of them face-to-face at a McDonald's restaurant and had a conversation with her. I know her because the look I've seen in the video extracted from camera is very similar. Soon, I assigned my people to surround the restaurant. Strangely, after I attracted her attention with a question, she calmly ate her meal and looked straight at me to reply. I was surprised at the maturity and subtle intelligence in every word this woman uttered, even though she looked younger than her age.

I tried to flirt with her to get some information, and she eventually left a contact method for me and left. I smiled smugly and prepared to go out to admire my capture of her. But surprisingly, in a way, the people that I have arranged arround said that they did not see any women passing around here. I started to panic but suddenly realized I had her number. I called that number, and a female voice answered, and what she said—I still can't forget that day—she said, her voice seductive and mature :

"Good job, detective; you almost catch us. This number will disappear soon, and so will we. I'll speak quickly because there's not much time left. We won't kill you or anyone else, so don't ever think you can catch us. Never look for us."

That moment lasted only a few seconds, and after she hung up, I tried to call more, but all to no avail; the number doesn't seem to exist anymore. In the following years, the Wisteria case sank into oblivion; although only a few events occurred and ended, the impression of the case is still imprinted in my memory."

Like Scott Chase, the farmer Nash Alpert, who found Thea's body in the Thea Valle case, shared grisly stories about his obsession; he said in a trembling voice:

"I thought it was just an ordinary day. After a hard day's work, I was returning home through a small field road. As I passed an old tree, I suddenly discovered a dead body lying in the middle of the field. I suddenly stopped, my heart pounding, and a feeling of insecurity flooded my mind. The sunset light illuminated that cold body, creating a gloomy and scary image. Mine trembled as I got closer to look.

That body was partially decomposed, and the skin color was pale and parched. The skin was wrinkled and gray, and the eyes had lost their light, leaving only two dark holes. The corpse seemed to look at me coldly and lifelessly. The hair is loose, tangled, and devoid of any life. Tears dried up on her face, forming blurry and confusing streaks. The mouth is closed, leaving a white tooth. But that's not the scariest thing; on her body there are many patchy holes that make me scared and haunted. I had hoped to forget them, but hauntingly, I still couldn't.

Who could act so cruelly like this?"

PART VI: THE MYSTERY OF THE CASE[]

According to some police records, there have also been people who took advantage of this incident to fake and imitate twins. All were arrested and handled according to the current Penal Code; only the real couple were never arrested.

Also, while the Wisteria cases are happening, the local police station begins to receive mysterious letters from a signer named O.E. These letters contained information about the twins' criminal activities going on in the area, but all directions and details were confused and unclear. The letters are written in handwriting with a classic look and meticulousness. The words are written on old paper, carrying the breath of the past. However, the information in these letters makes it difficult for the police to understand and decipher their true meaning. Each letter contains complex hints, codes, or puzzles that require the police to deduce and decipher to find the true meaning of the information. The officers had to work together, focusing on every little detail to build a comprehensive picture of the criminal activity to come. However, despite their best efforts, the police were still unable to decipher the letters. Each time they attempt to figure out the true meaning of the information, there is a misunderstanding or misdirection. From the first letters, the police realized that O.E. was adept at concealing information and creating complex ciphers. The police had to resort to coding and analysis experts to solve the problem. They conducted research into different cipher patterns, from Caesar ciphers to Morse codes and more complex ciphers. Each letter is a new challenge, requiring ingenuity and patience to decipher. The police became so dismayed and confused by these hidden letters that they felt like they were running after a ghost. However, they are always trying to find the twins.

Arthur was still living with his new wife until August 2005, when both of them died in a highway accident. Rine Wisteria and Sue Wisteria left behind only four sentences and have never been arrested. The twins are known only as murderers and robbers; they always work well together and know exactly what role they play at the beginning of the crime, with a high level of physical strength and ingenuity in controlling the situation. And no one knows; they will come back at any time.

The Wisteria Case File ends here. Have a nice day!

...

The field of tombstones was covered in darkness, with only the dim lights of street lamps to illuminate it. Tall treetops and palm branches swayed slightly in the wind, following the rapid rhythm of breathing. The street in the night holds deadly secrets.

As darkness falls, the street becomes solitude, sorrowful, and silent. The bouquet of flowers placed on the threshold of the tomb was when the two murderers hid in the darkness and disappeared.
