Winter

Made by Zaizwrld

Appearance[]

Winter has warm ivory skin, but she leans towards the pale side in winter. She’s missing her right eye, and she shows it off to really scare people. It’s pretty nasty because she never covered it with anything after she herself took it out.

She has blue face stitches across her nose and a bit of her cheeks, just to make herself look cooler–yes, she stitched them permanently into her skin. Her nails are bitten down, as well as the skin around them. She has a lot of habits that ruin her appearance. She picks and bites at her skin on the daily.

Her sparkling amber hair is down to her waist, and has lots of layers in it, making it look constantly messy. she usually doesn't brush it, so it's always tangled.

She is usually seen wearing an off-the-shoulder, long sleeve black top with dirty, baggy, ripped jeans.

Personality[]

Winter is a very passionate character, but doesn't have a set personality for everyone. Her personality varies with her mood, experiences within a day, etc.

Around friends, she’s always cracking stupid jokes, teasing, and constantly making time spent with her interesting. She dumbs herself down in front of friends just to give a form of entertainment. She does dumb things only the stupidest would do, but everyone knows she’s smart enough not to go too far. She's only comfortable acting like this in front of close friends.

To acquaintances, it varies. To people she would like to get to know better, she's nonchalant and inquisitive. She's great at reading people, but does not assume she knows everything about them. She’s very teasing, even rude at times, and she likes to annoy people. She wants to bring out the worst in everyone she meets for some weird evaluation she does of everyone in her head. She keeps track of every reaction she gets from her new associates.

For people she couldn’t care less about knowing, she’s rude, or simply ignores them. She only cares for people that can entertain her or benefit her in reaching her goals or personal needs.

Now, for victims, she's also nonchalant and inquisitive. She will usually stalk her prey, their social media, anything she can dig up on them will be used against them. She’s good at figuring out people’s insecurities, and exploiting them. She laughs at their fear, mentally and physically tortures them before killing them, and makes them know that they “deserved” what she’s done to them.

Origin[]

Winter lived in Freetown, Massachusetts her whole life. She lived in a small house in a bustling neighborhood. Unfortunately, she was known as the girl who could never come out and play to the kids, and the ‘poor angel’ to the adults. Other residents frequently heard yelling and fighting from her house–which always came from her parents. It led to lots of questions, ones she’d never answer.

Her mother didn’t love her. She was an accident, she wasn’t supposed to be born, but there she was. Now, her mom had a reputation, she couldn’t just put the kid up for adoption. People saw her as an angel, a caring woman who brought life into rooms. Her mom was a great manipulator, a liar. Only Winter and her father knew who she really was.

On the other hand, her father adored her, trying to give her the best life he could despite her mother being a monster. He was really the only one who took care of her while she grew up, even with his job taking up so much time. She adored her dad even more than he adored her. He was her only safe place.

Winter was enrolled into school in second grade. At first, she tried to make friends, but everyone already knew each other. They weren’t open to letting in some weird girl who just moved in. They were mean from day one. A couple girls gave her a chance, but after seeing her odd habits, they dropped her. So, she became the quiet kid at school. In her mind, if she just didn't talk, how could anyone be annoyed by her?

Simple, she was TOO quiet, too distant, too weird. That made her a major target for bullying.

She had a fixation on insects, especially spiders and crickets. She would pick them up at recess, and pretend she was their mom. The girls and boys witnessed it, and laughed every time it happened. They stomped on the bugs she took care of, right in front of her face.

On the daily, girls laughed when her shoes came untied, her hair was too messy, and made a fool out of her every shot they got. Same with the boys. They all made fun of how weird she was, and always made her know she’d be alone forever. This ruined her self image, sending her into a major depressive episode at the ripe age of eight.

She couldn’t focus in class, there was always something else on her mind. She could barely remember what she wore that day, what she ate, if she ate; simple things just slipped out of her brain the second she thought about them. She was always focusing on trying to remember instead of the schoolwork in front of her. Her classmates made fun of her forgetfulness as well as everything else. Her grades were never really good, which gave her mom another reason to yell at her. If her child isn’t as “perfect” as her, she deserves to be punished, right?

Not having a single friend and having so many weird habits made it impossible to even have a chance at fitting in. Her home life wasn’t even safe, now she had nowhere. School wasn’t safe, she had no friends, and her father was truly her only system of support.

The bullying only got worse over the years, getting physical on some days. It was getting harder and harder everyday to keep going.

In eighth grade, she actually managed to make a friend, the new kid, Laine. Laine and her were inseparable from the start. Both had dis-likable homes, and not much support from others in their life. They found comfort in each other's loneliness, knowing that if either left the other, they’d have no one.

Tragically, in ninth grade, Winter’s father was killed by her mother. Her mother was never caught, her father’s death being ruled as a “tragic accident”,  and her home life was worse than it could have ever been. The death of her father was devastating, sending her anxiety and depression through the roof. With so much on her mind, she developed insomnia, making her mental and situation worse, throwing her closer to breaking.

In 10th grade, her tormentors would go to extra lengths to make her life hell after finding out about her mother. They showed up to Winter’s house, trashing the place, and immediately telling her mother it was her, considering there were no other witnesses. That earned her a real good beating. In the same month, they beat her just as hard as her mother did when they trashed her house. She was too weak then to fight back, so she started skipping school as much as she could to avoid them. She snuck out at nights, going to the park, frequently inviting Laine there as well.

Being friends with Winter was a curse. Laine got bullied as much as Winter, maybe even more for being friends with such a freak, and being overweight for her age. Winter did her best to comfort her, but Laine was weak. She couldn’t handle it as well as Winter. Just two years after her father’s death, Laine took her own life. She was driven to suicide by her tormentors after an embarrassing picture was leaked, and made fun of.

After Laine died, Winter completely snapped. Everyone has their breaking points, and this was hers. She officially had no one. Her worst fear was a reality now; she was alone.

In the years leading up to her break, she developed a weird fascination with all things crime, and everyone noticed it. She was always researching cases involving Murder, rape, drug abusers, etc. She hated how awful the world was, and she started fantasizing about cleansing it and being a new, pure god. There was nothing pure about her ideation, considering the steps she planned to take to get there. Laine worried for her, but she was too far gone, which added another reason for her death. Laine knew she couldn’t save her best friend, and she ended up fearing her in the end.

On a cloudy November day, Winter took out her main abusers; her mother, two girls that bullied her, and one boy.

The classmates she ended up killing were originally going to kill her, or at least leave her with major injuries. They drugged her, and brought her to the greenhouse to tie her up and leave her there to be framed with drug possession. They never actually had an intent to kill her, but that's how she saw it. With the fear of dying running through her mind, she got the strength to fight back. She brutally mutilated them, leaving her classmates to be found right in front of the school’s doors.

She went home after that, adrenaline still pumping through her blood. She suffocated her mom in her sleep, and spared her the suffering of being chopped up like the others.

After she snapped, she went into hiding in the Freetown State Forest, now living in an abandoned cabin, her mental spiraling even more, and quickly.

Powers/Abilities[]

Winter has always been smart, but she's especially intelligent in engineering, science, and the study of drug development–pharmacy drugs, and things like meth.

Using her knowledge of drugs, she has given herself supernatural enhancements. She can shoot thin wires out of the tips of her fingers, making it easy to slice flesh in half.

Again, with her knowledge of how to make drugs, she gave herself the ability to mimic voices,--within certain limits–making it easier to lure victims in.

She can manipulate metals and hard to break materials with the super strength she also gave herself.

She’s pretty powerful, but at the end of the day, her insides are the same as any other human’s. It's not impossible to kill her, just harder
