Once there was a little girl named May, she was born into a rich family. But she was born with eye problems, she could not see properly without surgery. She had to wait many years to be old enough for it and when she did it did not work out well, you see the person who did it was only an apprentice and was not experienced enough to carry out the surgery correctly. And so the little girl could see, but one of her once blue eyes turned white. She was not bothered much though, she liked it and when her parents saw she was not mad they let it go and returned home. She did not know what fate had in store for her, she would have been more careful...
May was now 6 and ready to go to kindergarten. She was thrilled! She couldn't wait to make new friends and meet people, she was bouncing in her seat and as she rode towards the giant school she saw the glittering sign and shrieked with joy. Her parents were happy their little dumpling wanted to go to school and dropped her off, but when she stepped off almost everyone was immediately rude to her. One girl though was not, May asked her name and she said her name was April, they hit it off and had so much fun that when it was time to go home May was sad, she did not want to go away from her new friend. But her mom told her that they would come back and she calmed down, the next day though when she got to school another girl took her behind the school and beat her up.

After that May sat up and tried to cover up some of the bruises and eventually passed out, luckily a teacher found her and brought her to the nurse. When the nurse called her parents however, May refused to tell them what happened. The girl, finding out their conversation took it as an opportunity to beat her up every day. May ended up more reserved and April left her because she wouldn't talk to her anymore. Everyone seemed to hate her in May´s eyes.
May was 15 now and she was going to school, she hated school and would do anything to avoid it. Sara was waiting for her,

The girl turned and started to laugh, ran towards her, and socked her in the stomach making May throw up her breakfast. She continued beating her up as she had since kindergarten, May HATED her.

At that moment, May snapped. She would not have someone talk bad about her family, so she leapt up and tackled the girl hitting her with all her might.

The girl passed out and May walked to class as if nothing happened, she felt good to get justice.

After school, she was walking home but some of Sara´s friends found out about May beating their friend up and followed her, they brought a knife and carved Sara´s name on her, beat her up and left her in an alley. She laid there for many hours patching herself up and crying. The next day at school Sara was waiting there and laughed. It was that moment that May spotted a needle on the sidewalk and stabbed Sara´s neck with it watching her bleed out. Then she ran, far, far away, where she hid deep in a cave. And then she slept there and dreamt over and over of her sweet revenge.

She then approached the girl who was flailing around fiercely and took the chains off so she could go. She started training and after many years, eventually started hiding in alleyways to kill those doing injustice, and protecting the innocent. Her newfound name becoming White-eyes.
