Hello! Some of you may know me around here as I am an administrator for this lovely site. Evidently, I've made this blogpost to apply for bureaucratic rights on this wiki.
If you are unaware of what bureaucratic rights are, let me assist you. Upon acquiring the user right known as a bureaucrat, one obtains two new abilities; one being that they can promote others to any position(a step up from adminship where they could only promote others to discussions and chat moderators) and the other being that they can only be demoted by FANDOM staff.
Opposed to merely asking for bureaucratic rights and receiving them, I'd much rather have community consensus on such.
Past Experience[]
I've had past experience with user rights on several other wikis.
- Content Moderator for the Roblox Creepypasta Wiki
- Content Moderator for the Roblox Mad City Wiki
- Administrator for the Hytale Creepypasta Wiki
- Administrator for the Lolpasta Wiki
- Bureaucrat for the Hytale Wiki
What I intend to offer the community[]
As a bureaucrat, I would ultimately maintain a leadership position in the community. Upon such, I would like to implement more features as to enhance one's experience here.
I've already added features such as discussion categories and the helper program. I've observed how users act on this wiki, and which could be suited for staff positions in the near future. I would work far more on CSS and JS for the wiki. I would begin to host votes for featured articles opposed to me and AnimeGirl deciding on ones from out of the blue.
I obviously could do a majority of this now of course, but AnimeGirl won't be around forever, and as the bureaucrats are far less active and all, where would we be left at? This wiki would be resigned to the same state it was in before AnimeGirl and Rin revived it without active bureaucrats.
State whether you support or oppose in the comments!
