Trench Serling Tantalus, more commonly referred to as just Trench, is a mysterious creepypasta whose origin remains a mystery, due to him having trust issues. Currently, he serves as a minion of Zalgo, but still prefers to do things on his own accord.
Background[]
Trench is often regarded as a mystery: Who was he? Where did he come from? Several theories made by other of Zalgo's minions, all having being possible: while some say that Trench was a serial killer who finally met his end when he challenged Zalgo, while others say that he was made synthetically from a government experiment with the DNA of every dangerous murderer, including Jeff the Killer and his hunter, Jane. Regardless of his past, Trench possesses powerful abilities that have the power to rival Zalgo's might, with the latter having Trench do as little as possible in fears of him overthrowing Zalgo's rule. And you know what? Trench wouldn't have it any other way.
True Origin[]
The son of scientist John Tantalus and human follower of Zalgo, Helen Serling, Trench was born and raised on the secluded Blackreef Island, a place whose natural phenomena rivals that of the Bermuda Triangle. As the island held strange energies, Trench became infused with these energies, and was able to channel these with his father's inventions. Zalgo took in an interest in Trench's powers, and seeing as how his mother, Helen, was one of his followers, appeared to her in his true form. Zalgo asked Helen if she could give Trench to Zalgo as a gift. Helen, ever seeking to gain her master's favor, instantly complied. Trench's father, on the other hand, wasn't about to give his only son to a demon, and armed himself with his most advanced weaponry and engaged Zalgo in battle. Zalgo, having extraordinary abilities, believed that he would easily win, but he had underestimated Blackreef's energies, and Trench's father had the edge, channeling the energy of Blackreef with his Slabs. Eventually, Zalgo emerged the victor and let Tantalus live. Taking Trench back with him, Zalgo allowed his prize to say his last goodbyes before leaving Blackreef.
Appearance[]
A handsome, but humble, 21 year old man, Trench has (in his opinion) cool hair, a blue shirt and a black vest (cause he's fancy). On his neck he wears a necklace with a blue crystal pendant. He also has a black leather jacket that he loves. Btw, he's also got black torn jeans.
Personality[]
Trench is laid-back and relaxed, and doesn't give much regard for Zalgo, with him not caring what the latter is capable of. He has a love for his father and harbors a seething hatred for his mother for leaving her son in the hands of a demon. Trench loves being in new places, but at the same time misses his home on Blackreef Island. He is currently plotting to leave Zalgo's domicile, and return to Blackreef to make his mother, Helen, pay for what she did. When he is active, Trench is determined and punishes his enemies harshly and ruthlessly and rewards his allies opulently.
When working at club EXO, Trench doesn't talk much, so he doesn't mess up when he works. He hates Bachelor's advancements and has often threatened to murder him if he doesn't stop on more than one occasion.
Abilities[]
This is a list of Trench's abilities. Despite Zalgo having Trench doing as little tasks that use his powers, he still practices them to hone and show Zalgo his power, in hopes of him being thrown out of the latter's cult.
Dark Lighting[]
Casts and controls black bolts and streams of electricity with blue borders. Can temporarily short anything out and leave his opponents immobile and inactive for as long as he likes.
Karnesis[]
His name for telekinesis. Karnesis is capable of flinging anything at rapid speeds at the direction his hand goes.
Fustercluck[]
Trench has an active imagination, which means that he can imagine odd and destructive things. Fustercluck allows him to literally bring his imagination to life and summon a number of odd, somewhat psychotic beings, items, and weapons at his disposal, such as a sentient animal like train called Locomobius, and an enormous valkyrian warrior named Psychoreaver.
Weaponry[]
Trench can create and summon a number of creative weaponry, such as Consistency, an Uzi that can shoot while reloading, and Jack's Wild, a scoped revolver that shoots acid shotgun pellets.
Shift[]
Essentially teleportation with a cool name, Trench takes it a step further and has honed Shift to the point where he can swap places with whoever is unlucky enough to be in his eyeline.
Nexus[]
An ability that links the fates of multiple people into one. Example: if Trench uses Nexus and links five people, he can launch one linked person into the air and the rest will also be launched into the air.
Havoc[]
Havoc gives Trench unbreakable steel skin and essentially turns him into a human wrecking ball.
Fade Away[]
Trench turns invisible and is able to shoot three shots that instantly kill anyone they make contact with. When he shoots all three shots, he becomes visible again.
Voltcrash[]
Trench becomes covered in Dark Lighting and flies like a missile. If he hits something or someone, Trench expels the Dark Lighting at a massive discharge.
Luck[]
This really isn't an ability, but Trench prefers it to be an ability, so...... yeah.
Elemental Immunity[]
As a minion of Zalgo, Trench is immune to what he refers to as, "The Border Elements" They are fire, electricity, acid, radiation, ice, and an element that he made himself, slag.
Slag[]
Trench can alter a person's bloodstream to slag them. Slag is a chemical that Trench made himself, which decreases an organisms natural defense and immune system, and is also very toxic, to the point where even Zalgo himself cannot withstand slag.
INEEDDAHEALS[]
Trench literally just found out that he has a healing factor after his fight with Blade, and named it INEEDDAHEALS after what he said right before his healing factor kicked in.
