The Hawker also known as Alexander James "Alex" Miller is the protagonist to the story of the same name, The Hawker.
Story Summary[]
Alex just graduated college a few months back, during one of his explorations he runs away feeling uneasy. He finds out that he was being stalked for the past week, possibly more by a stalker. The stalker offers him a deal to meet him back at the abandon hotel, Alex finds out it's a trap and manages to kill the killer. He has a feeling of bloodlust and decides he'll continue his spree, the Slenderman offers to lead him and he happily accepts.
Appearance[]
Before being attacked he is described as having dark around his eyes due to his nightmares/terrors, long brown hair that was a few centimeters below his shoulders. His eyes were dark blue and "tired", with his skin more pale than his normal Caucasian skin tone.
After being attacked by one of Slender's proxy Alex’s yellow jacket was stained with blood causing it to appear orange. His face was slit from mouth to past his cheek, having slashes across his body. The mask he held was pale white and had black thin marking outlining the eye sockets. The section around the mouth was chipped a little, to where you could almost see the wearer's lips. He rubbed his hands from the sockets to the bottom of the mask leaving a tear-like smear of blood.
Personality[]
He was a kind person making friends with people easily and always responded to others with kindness. Alex always kept to himself, he seems to have hard times sleeping because of his EHS. After he made his first kill Alex seemed to love the feeling calling it a "craving feeling." However Alex seems to dislike being watched for too long switching from kind to aggressive within seconds. As shown when chasing Weasel he seems to have a fight response and is very hard to stop in his tracks.
Relationships[]
Kate Millens-Hayes[]
Alex refers to Kate by her full name, Katherine, he states she is a "Somewhat long distance friend." He was close enough to go to her Stepmother's, Beth's, funeral to provide support. He considers himself as a family friend.
Beth Hayes[]
Alex was a close friend of Beth's stepdaughter and considered a family friend. On October 18th, 2009 he went to her funeral after she died of unknown causes, according to the story she had a closed casket.
Unnamed Friend[]
The unarmed friend only appeared in a short segment of a dream, she is referred to as a mystery. Alex was close to her in high school but not much is told about her.
Steve[]
Steve is a local construction worker who spotted Alex hanging around the abandon building, instead of reporting him to the police like other workers wanted to do he became friends with Alex. He sometimes pays Alex and tells him where abandoned buildings are so he can search the place and remove anything valuable or remove wildlife.
Marble Hornets Cast[]
He mentions a wedseries talking about a stalker, he refers to one of the people (possibly Alex or Jay) as one of his peers.
Slenderman[]
Slenderman turns Alex into a proxy by the end of the story by luring him to Southwest Eden Park.
Weasel/Stalker[]
Weasel is a stalker who spy's and watches Alex, it's unknown how long she had watched him but he noticed he was being followed since he first entered the old hotel. Alex learns Weasel's name after she wrote him a note, Alex almost becomes a victim to Weasel but overpowers her. Alex ends up killing the proxy but is left with scars. Alex discovers his bloodlust/love for killing after he kills the stalker woman. He mistakes her as the possible stalker that haunted the Marble Hornets Cast, he also assumed that she killed Beth Hayes.

Superhuman Physical Conditions[]
Alex is stated to be an "athletic person" and he is strong enough to punch a doorknob off while only slightly bleeding. He is able to chase Weasel, run up 7 flights of stairs, and he is shown to lose a little bit of stamina. He is stabbed multiple times and had his face slit but still launched Weasel into a nightstand and killed her.
Stealth Mastery[]
Like other proxies Alex is able to move around without being found, most commonly he has went into many abandon buildings without being caught.
Weapon Mastery[]
He can expertly use a Buck 119 Hunting Knife to stab and gut people.
Exploding Head Syndrome/EHS[]
Exploding head syndrome (EHS) is an abnormal sensory perception during sleep in which a person experiences auditory hallucinations that are loud and of short duration when falling asleep or waking up. More info here. Alex is stated by doctors that the cause is Stress or it was a gene mutation.

- Weasel and Slenderman's connection to Alex. Alex wondered how long Weasel had stalked him wondering if she had stalked him from before the story, the story tells us that Alex encountered Slenderman in a dream but his motives still remain unknown.
