Origin[]
Sofia Mirova never belonged. She was born into a cold and broken home, serving as an unpleasant reminder of a guy who had long since vanished. Elena, her mother, resented her and made no effort to hide it. Love was a strange idea, replaced by neglect and the occasional cutting remarks designed to hurt deeper than any blade.
School provided no escape. If anything, things were worse. Sofia was uncharacteristically quiet, distant, and fixated with her weird sketches of faceless beings and twisted shadows. They humiliated her, stole her belongings, and tore up her drawings as if they were nothing. It began with whispers. Then pushes. Then come bruises.
Then came the day they went too far.
A group of females surrounded her in the school bathroom, giggling as they pinned her down. Sofia refused to remember their leader, who grinned and instead held out a broken fragment of mirror. Before she could even struggle, the glass shattered into her right eye.
White-hot pain. A scream that almost escaped her throat. Blood was dripping down her face. They walked away laughing, leaving her devastated and blind in one eye.
But Sofia did not die.
She did not go home either. She staggered across the deserted streets, her body trembling and her thoughts wandering. She couldn't think or see, but something inside her was already destroyed.
Then she spotted him. A tall, faceless man stands near the treeline, watching. Silent. Overpowering. A portion of her should have been scared. However, she had lost all fear. She stepped forward. And the blackness swallowed her completely. She woke up somewhere else. Somewhere seems wrong.
The anguish and blood from her wounds persisted, but something had changed. A power had settled deep within her, twisting and altering whatever was remained of her. Her right eye was nothing but a hollow ruin, although it didn't seem empty.
It felt knitted together by something strange, something that pulsed with inky darkness whenever she looked in the mirror.
It whispered to her. It guided her. She understood now.
She went home. She walked in the front door like nothing had occurred. Her mother scarcely looked up—until a bullet rang out across the home.
Then came school.
They didn't even notice her arriving. The doors locked behind her, the lights flickered, and the true nightmare began. She punished them one by one. She carved out their eyes, just like they had done to her. She stained the walls with their blood. Sofia Mirova ceased to exist after it was over.
All that was left was The Grim X.
She is now nothing more than a shadow, a silent artist of the abyss who moves unnoticed, leaving behind frightening, bloodstained sketches as warnings. She now serves him by creeping into the darkness and watching.

Sofia Mirova has an uncanny, frightening presence. Her body is scarred, a result of the anguish she experienced in both life and transition. Her most unsettling aspect is her right eye, which is blacked out and dripping an inky, tar-like material down her face. When she enters a more aggressive or entity-driven condition, the darkness consumes her features, leaving only her hollow, glowing sockets.
Her clothes are as ragged as her past. A long, flowing trench coat clings to her figure strangely, moving in ways fabric should not. She's dressed in a dark gray sleeveless shirt, tattered black tights, and hefty combat boots. Her hands are wrapped in fingerless gloves, and her face is partially disguised by a black mask sewn crudely into a "X" where her lips should be. Her tangled, untamed brown hair falls over her face in threads, further hiding her expression.

- Parasitic Blood - Her dark, eldritch blood is alive; anything it touches corrodes, and if it seeps into a victim's wounds, they suffer excruciating torment until their body rots from within.
- Insatiable Bloodlust - The longer she is in this form, the more she intends to kill and consume. Her instincts take precedence over any leftover humanity, making it almost hard for her to stop herself.
- Hunting instincts - She goes after the strongest prey first. If there are several individuals nearby, she will disregard the weak and go straight for the most dangerous, demonstrating her supremacy.
- Fear Paralysis - Anyone who makes direct eye contact with her freezes, unable to move as primordial horror swallows them. They are fully cognizant, yet helpless to flee as she approaches.
- Blood-Drunk State - After drinking enough blood, her body fills with vitality, propelling her quicker, stronger, and even more wild. In this state, her motions become erratic, and her laughing sounds twisted, like a choir of overlapping voices.
- Unholy Presence - When she enters a room, the air thickens, shadows lengthen abnormally, and a suffocating pressure fills the space. People endure nosebleeds, dizziness, and hallucinations simply by being near her.
- Voice of the Devourer - When she talks, it sounds like a deep, layered whisper, almost alluring but full of hatred. It's not just one voice; there are many of them, overlapping and speaking in different tones at the same time.

Since Slenderman's influence produces this change, the proxy mark above her black eye is an obvious indication that she is being forcibly controlled. Symptoms include:

She rarely expresses emotion and maintains a calculating, almost ghostlike appearance, which makes her unnerving to be around. She avoids needless engagements, speaking only when required, and even then, her voice is frequently muted and monotone.
Despite her frigid appearance, Sofia has a secret caring for those who are genuinely nice, especially children. She regards children as innocent, free of the world's cruelty, and will go to great lengths to protect them. However, those who are cruel, abusive, or manipulative face harsh punishment, since she has little sympathy for people who cause suffering to others.
Despite her passionate loyalty to Slenderman, she still wonders if she has completely lost her humanity. Deep down, she wonders if there is still a place for her outside the darkness—or if she is doomed to remain a shadow forever.
