Mitzi Mozzarella, 1986.

Mitzi Mozzarella, 1986.

Back in the '80s, there was this old ShowBiz Pizza in town that everyone said was haunted. My buddy Morgan and I didn't believe it, though. We thought it would be cool to spend the night there, just to prove everyone wrong. One summer night, armed with sleeping bags and snacks, we snuck into the abandoned ShowBiz Pizza. The air was thick with dust, and the place felt eerie, like it was watching us. We set up camp near the stage, joking nervously about the creepy animatronics. But as the night wore on, things started to get weird. The animatronic band seemed to come alive, their movements jerky and unnatural. "Hey, did you see that?" Morgan whispered, his voice trembling. "Yeah, it's probably just old electronics glitching," I replied, trying to sound brave. But then, the lights flickered on, and a crackling voice echoed through the room. "Welcome to ShowBiz Pizza," it said, but there was no warmth in the tone. "You shouldn't be here." Fear gripped us as the doors slammed shut, trapping us inside. Morgan suggested splitting up to explore. I tried to talk him out of it, but he was determined. "I'll check the kitchen, you search the game area," Morgan said, his voice shaky. Reluctantly, I agreed, and we went our separate ways. I searched the darkened corridors, calling out for Morgan, but there was no answer. Panic set in as I realized he was gone. I searched for hours, but there was no sign of him. Finally, I found him near the stage, lying on the floor. His face was pale, his eyes wide with fear. "Morgan, what happened?" I asked, shaking him gently. "I don't know... something grabbed me... pulled me into the darkness..." he gasped, his voice barely a whisper.

Before I could react, a shadowy figure emerged from the darkness, its eyes glowing with malice. It was Mitzi, the animatronic band's lead singer. With a terrified scream, Morgan was pulled back into the shadows, disappearing before my eyes.

I ran, screaming for help, but when I returned with the police, there was no sign of Morgan. The abandoned ShowBiz Pizza still stands as a silent reminder of that night, and I can't help but wonder what happened to Morgan. Did something in that place take him, or was it something even more sinister?
