Story[]
Sarah Hayes had it all. She was enrolled in Lone Pine College, one of the most prestigious colleges of Pinewood City. She was captain of the debate team, had a close-knit group of friends, and a girlfriend she absolutely adored. She had a plan for her life ahead, and she knew just what she wanted to achieve in her life.
That was, until the oddities began to surface.
One day, Sarah was suddenly called to the chancellor's office. Once she arrived, the chancellor asked her why she had been wandering around the college campus after curfew hours. When Sarah protested her innocence, the chancellor pulled up photos from CCTV footage that showed someone clearly resembling Sarah walking around the campus suspiciously. Seeing that it was seen as a minor offence and that Sarah had a very clean track record in college, the chancellor let her off with a small warning.
Sarah, however, wanted answers. Was that figure an impersonator of her, or was it just a coincidence that they looked so similar to each other?
Unable to get this wonder out of her head, Sarah asked her friends and other members of the debate club to go watch out for anyone who looked similar to Sarah. After a few days of looking, however, there were no results.
Days turned into weeks, and the reports didn’t stop. Security guards swore they’d seen her near the science building at 3 a.m., while classmates claimed they’d waved to her only to see her disappear around a corner. Sarah’s protests of innocence began to wear thin.
Then Danny, the jock of Sarah's friend group, vanished.
His absence was abrupt, a hollow space in their group dynamic. His roommate said Danny had been acting strange the night before, mumbling about shadows and "eyes that weren’t eyes." When he didn’t return the next morning, everyone assumed he’d gone home.
When he reappeared a week later, his usually lively demeanor was dulled. He avoided Sarah altogether, his eyes glazing over when anyone mentioned her name.
One by one, it happened to the others. Emma, whose laughter once echoed through the dorm hallways, was found dead in the woods near campus. The authorities called it a tragic accident, but Sarah couldn’t shake the sight of Emma’s pale face and the strange, twisted shape of her body.
Sam, the quiet one of the group, vanished like Danny, only to return days later with no memory of Sarah.
The isolation suffocated her. By then, even Cleo had begun acting distant, her once-bright smiles dimming. Sarah clung to her girlfriend, desperate for answers, for reassurance that she wasn’t going mad.
Everything came to a head one night, when Cleo shook Sarah awake, urging her that she had seen something outside their dorm, staring at them through the window. Sarah quickly threw the curtains open and grabbed a flashlight to shine a light outside, only to find nothing. The campus grounds were empty, bathed in the pale glow of the moon.
Just as both girls were beginning to calm down, they heard a voice, raspy and deep but also somehow sounding like Sarah's, called out to them, specifically to Cleo. Both girls froze and turned to see that their dorm room was open. The figure had somehow breached their room in a short amount of time.
Closing the door behind her, the figure stepped forward, revealing herself for the first time.
It was Sarah.
But it wasn’t.
The thing’s face was hers, down to the faint scar on her chin, but its eyes were wrong—dark, depthless voids that seemed to swallow light.
Cleo screamed, but the doppelganger moved impossibly fast, seizing them both.
Sarah thrashed, her cries muffled as the figure dragged them into the shadows. The last thing she saw before darkness consumed her was her own face grinning back at her.
"Finally," it whispered, its voice a distorted echo of her own.
The real Sarah screamed as the impostor’s face melted into hers, and the world went black.

Behaviour[]
Parodist is a cold, calculating entity with an eerie, unsettling presence that defies comprehension. It is methodical in its pursuit of Sarah’s life, studying her every move with a detached, almost clinical obsession. Devoid of genuine emotion, it mimics Sarah with uncanny precision, yet beneath the surface, there is an unnerving hollowness—an emptiness that hungers to consume and replace. It possesses a cruel, predatory intelligence, delighting in the slow unraveling of Sarah’s reality, feeding off fear and isolation like a parasite. Its motivations remain a mystery, but one thing is certain: it will not stop until Sarah Hayes is erased, and it stands in her place, indistinguishable from the real thing.
Appearance[]
Parodist has the same appearance as Sarah, which means that she has short inky black hair, blue eyes and a slender body. However, her face has several cuts and bruises on it, likely due to her victims fighting back. She often uses makeup to hide the cuts and bruises.

Trivia[]
- Parodist doesn't have a specific sexual attraction, but seems to have an unhealthy obsession with Cleo, Sarah's girlfriend.
- Her creator is I'llBeYourFriend.
- Parodist originally only killed those she couldn't brainwash, but began doing it more freely.
- She brainwashes the people close to Sarah in order to make them forget the original Sarah.
- She does this in case she showcases behaviour that the original Sarah did not.
- However, it may not be necessary since she is somewhat similar Sarah, and would likely have the same behaviour and mannerisms Sarah had in everyday life. So her actions could be due to her paranoia acting up.
- She does this in case she showcases behaviour that the original Sarah did not.
- Her next goal after killing Sarah is to seemingly brainwash everyone else in the city to forget about the murders she had done and about Sarah as a whole.
- It is unknown what happened to Sarah after the final encounter with Parodist.
- Although it is unknown whether doppelgängers have the same physical attributes as normal humans, Parodist seems to be far faster more intelligent than a normal human, as she was able to craft an elaborate plan to slowly get to Sarah, and was able to travel from one place to another at unnatural speed.
- She also seems to be slightly stronger and more durable than typical people, as she was able to kidnap Sarah's more well-built friends with apparent ease.
- Her name was given to her by Sarah while the latter was trying to look for her.
