Backstory: Malantha “Marie” Andres was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, where she lived with her parents. Growing up, she was a kind and gullible girl who helped anyone in need. She was well known for helping everyone in her community. However, a man once took her kindness as an advantage. As she went into high school, she was accompanied by her friends Remilia, and Sam along with her boyfriend Easton. Marie had big dreams to go to college and help anyone in need. She had dreams to become a doctor in the Swedish Medical Center which was the biggest hospital in Seattle, Washington. Marie had applied to every class that would help her in the aid to become a doctor in the future. On the first day of high school, she grew fond of a teacher named Mr. Beckerman.
He was an old man who appeared to have great knowledge of biology and medical science. Marie grew attached to him, because she knew he was her ticket to a bright future. However, Mr. Beckerman had other ideas with Marie. Mr. Beckerman fell in love with the idea of her being with him, due to her beauty as a young girl, and how innocent she was. He knew of her future plan, since she told him everything about her plans and how she yearns to become a doctor. Throughout the months of high school, he had groomed her in the class, by giving her special attention and showing her his soft side. Marie started to love Mr. Beckerman, but she knew he was a teacher, so she had conflicting emotions.
She was still in love with her boyfriend Easton, and knew Easton would be angry at her for confessing her love for her teacher. For weeks she remained silent with Easton and Mr. Beckerman. Then one day, she confessed to Remilia that she was madly in love with Mr. Beckerman due to his personality and the attention she received from him. At first, Remilia was shocked by this news, because she knew Marie wouldn’t have done this, however she knew this would give her the advantage to get with Easton. So she decided to tell Easton the news, this led Easton to argue with Marie because of her feelings for Mr. Beckerman. Upset after the fight, she decided to make a plan to run away from home.
Marie knew her emotions were wrong, and didn’t know how to deal with them, so she felt running away from her home will help her. One day, early in the morning she packed her backpack with clothe, and left a message to her parents. She went to school, and entered Mr. Beckerman’s class early in the morning. Mr. Beckerman was shocked that she decided to run away from home, but when she begged him to take her in, he knew his plan was in place. That morning, Marie and he decided to skip school, and he drove her up to his house. He had his own estate where he kept his darkest secrets. When Marie stepped foot into the estate, she was never prepared for what was to come next.
Mr. Beckerman grabbed a rag and dosed it with chemicals, and then pinned Marie to the wall. Marie screamed for help, but he placed the rag on her mouth, knocking Marie out. When Marie woke up, she was shackled in place with chains inside a small cell. Marie screamed for someone to hear her, but Mr. Beckerman came out of the shadows and smiled at her. “No one can hear you, my little doll,” he said while smirking at her, “Oh darling, you poor little virgin,” Marie screamed louder as she regretted what she’s done, and deep down in her heart she begged for forgiveness towards her family. She tried to shift around the chains but each time she would move, the chain would get tighter. Mr. Beckerman began to laugh at her antics, and said, “It’s worthless my little doll… I made sure you’ll never leave.” Marie began to cry and looked around to see other girls in other cells.
Each girl was looking at Mr. Beckerman with wide eyes, and Marie was able to hear their whispering around her. What she went into was a trap, and she had no other way to escape. Mr. Beckerman began to smile at Marie, and knew she was the perfect girl for him. To that Mr. Beckerman had left the cell with Marie crying for her own family. After crying for so long, she went to sleep but when she woke up, she was now in the living room of the house, and saw Mr. Beckerman had a branding iron near the fireplace. She was able to see the branding iron had the initials, “RB”, as she tried to move, Marie realized she was chained again near the fireplace. As she tugged on the chains, Mr. Beckerman walked up to he, and smirked. He kneeled down, and tugged her shirt to expose her shoulder blade.
She flinched by his touch, and looked at him with wide eyes. Mr. Beckerman then pressed the branding iron on her shoulder which led her to scream in agony. Marie cried, “Why Mr. Beckerman?” Mr. Beckerman ignored he, and unlocked her chains from the fireplace. He tugged her to follow him, in which she did. He began to explain to her that this estate is for girls he fell deeply in love with, and uses them for his own benefits. Marie cried softly as Mr. Beckerman told her that she was the chosen one from the school, claiming her soft face and small lips where what captivated him. He led her to a bedroom where it was dark, and when she turned around, Mr. Beckerman placed a rag on her mouth, and then it was black.
When she woke up, she was on the bed, and when she tried to get up, her lower half of her body hurt with some blood leaking around her thighs. She was still chained to the bed, so she waited, and waited. It wasn’t until the next morning a girl came by, and she introduced herself as Sarah. Sarah had a bowl of water and a rag in her hand, she helped Marie clean herself up down there, along with taking care of her sore wrists from the chains. “Where am I?” asked Marie, “I want to go home…” Sarah looked at her with tired eyes, and looked down with tears dripping onto the floor. She whispered, “You can’t leave… You belong to Mr. Beckerman now.” Marie looked down on her hands and began to weep with Sarah.
She was trapped with Mr. Beckerman, and there was nothing she could do. For years, Mr. Beckerman had kept more than 10 girls in his estate and each one was special than the others. However, this wasn’t the case for Marie. It was clear that Marie was Mr. Beckerman’s favorite because he spent more time with her, and showered her with gifts. Marie did not like the attention, but after Mr. Beckerman decided to pursue another girl;Marie panicked and showed Mr. Beckerman, she loved him. However, when she turned 17 something had happened to her.
Mr. Beckerman tried to be careful when it came to intimacy with his girls, however he had made a mistake when being intimate with Marie. Due to this mistake, Marie became pregnant. When word got out in the estate she was pregnant, she was treated like a slave towards the other girls,because they wanted to be the girl who carried Mr. Beckerman’s child. However, Mr. Beckerman did not want children, so he decided to do something about it. When Marie was 3 months pregnant, Mr. Beckerman drove her up to a secluded forest and told her they were going on a hike. Marie was happy she was going on a hike with Mr. Beckerman, and talked to him about their child together.

Even though, Mr. Beckerman loved Marie, he did not want her to become a mother. He knew if she was to become a mother, she wouldn’t give attention to him, and instead live her life as a mother. With a heavy heart, he led her to a quiet area in the forest. Marie looked around and saw there was a cliff underneath them. She backed out due to her safety, but she felt Mr. Beckerman wrapped his hand on her arm dragging her to the cliff. Marie screamed as she fell down the cliff. She landed her on top of a rock, and her stomach was hit by another rock.
Marie screamed for Mr. Beckerman but then she saw him leave her. She reached down to her thighs, to see blood was pouring out. Her fear was true, she had lost her baby. She got up and began to walk around. For days, she would walk around the forest, looking for Mr. Beckerman, and wanting him to come back for her. When day 5 came around, she was getting dizzy as her blood kept seeping down to the floor.
The night sky was gloomy as she continued to walk. She was able to see a form of light at the end of the wood trail, but when she took another step closer, she fell down and saw black. As she woke up again, there was a cat with light green eyes, and its fur was decomposing. She screamed at the cat, and then the cat smiled telling her, “Don’t worry… My name is Jasper…” Looking around, she realized she was still at the same place, but her heart felt different. There was no heartbeat, and when she saw her arms, they were covered in red vines. The cat walked up to her and said, “Do not fear Marie… You’ve been rebirthed as a revenant.”
Marie stared at the cat and asked, “What is a revenant?”
Jasper meowed, and walked around her. As he walked around her, he replied, “A revenant is a spirit who comes back from the dead… to cause harm towards others…” Marie got up and looked at him with wide eyes. Jasper jumps up to her, in which Marie grabs him with her arms. Jasper licked her face, and mentions he knows the estate to where Mr. Beckerman is.
Marie nods her head, and together they walk to the estate. It began to rain as they approach the RB estate, but Marie was determined to find Mr. Beckerman. It was nearly dawn when they found the estate, when Sarah opened the door, she screamed at the sight of Marie. Marie was holding on to Jasper with her eyes red as blood and her veins pulsing with a red color. Sarah ran away from the door, and when Mr. Beckerman came to the door to see Marie, he gasped and ran away.
Jasper leaped out of Marie’s arm, and began to chase Mr. Beckerman. Marie walked into the house with a fury passion in her heart, as it yearned for revenge. Step by step, she was finding the girls Mr. Beckerman kidnapped. Even though her heart wanted to give them mercy, in her mind she needed to kill them all. As she lifted up her hands, the blood running through the girl's veins began to race. Marie closed her fis, and nearly every girl she saw passed out.
When she walked up to them, she formed a blade with blood, and began to mutilate each body, absorbing every drop of blood. Her veins ran fast with the new blood, and she began to laugh. Now it was time to find Mr. Beckerman. She was able to hear him scream in fright, as she approached his office. Jasper had been cornering him with his long cat tongue.
Mr. Beckerman cried for mercy, claiming it was the only thing he knew he could do. Marie looked at him, and smiled. Her blood formed another blade and in a blink of an eye, she went face to face with Mr. Beckerman. She unbuckled his pants, and looked down. Mr. Beckerman screamed as she cut his genitals off, and as the blood dripped to the floor she smiled at him with a twisted face.
“You’ll pay for what you’ve done… Mr. Beckerman…” Marie said in a cold tone. Mr. Beckerman fell to the ground, as Jasper climbed on Marie’s shoulder. Together, they walked out of the estate, and walked into the forest once more.
She knew what her duty was, as a revenant. Marie won’t stop until everyone pays for what they’ve done.
