Origin[]
The life of Lewis started with the help Conor Philips, a game designer who created small computer games for a hobby. Conor lived alone in a small close knit neighborhood where he would work on various projects to pass the time.
One day, Conor was visiting the local bar and spotted a close friend of his. Walking over to him Conor was confused to find him drinking, knowing that he's never touched alcohol in his life. When Conor asked why, his friend told him that his five year old son, Lewis, was killed in a car accident.
Hearing his friends story Conor went home and created the game "Loving Lewis 2". Once he completed the game and put it onto a disk, Conor gave it to his friend, telling him that he might be able to us it to get over his grief.
"The game's simple enough." Conor told his friend. "Interact with the character by giving him food, playing games with him, and by taking care of him. This will show him that you love him and your score will go up. If you don't play the game, your score will go down."
Three months after Conor checked up on his friend, asking him how he was enjoying the game. To Conor's dismay his friend had no recollection of the game. When he finally remembered he told Conor that he played it for about a week before getting bored with it. In a state of near panic Conor told his friend to give his back the game.
Bringing it back home he inserted the disk into his computer. The game failed to load correctly twice, only showing the time that had passed since the last time the game was played then crashing. Restarting the game a third time Conor saw Lewis on the screen crying for a brief moment before introducing himself. Playing the game for a few days he found nothing wrong, and even started thinking of Lewis as his own son.
Yet as the weeks went by he noticed something odd. His score in the game was dropping faster, to the point where he had to check into the game once every hour. If he didn't Lewis would start crying, even if the game was shut off. Needing to take some time away from the game he left his house. Returning five hours later he went back to his computer and turned it on.
Upon looking at the screen he saw Lewis, with grey skin, an orange shirt, ghostly blonde hair, and red dripping from his eyes and wrists, staring at his with red eyes. "You don't love me enough." Said Lewis as he stared at him. A moment later a image appeared on the screen, and Conor fell to the floor, his heart stopped.
As the house was emptied, a worker discovered the disk containing the game. But upon running the disk, it was found to be empty, except for a sign, with this the words: "Goodbye" written on in infront of Lewis' house.
