Lamb of the Abyss | Shaat al-Zulm is known to be one of the main sources of the bubonic virus known as the Black Death, creating extraordinary looking creatures out of it's vessels.
Shaat al-Zulm - Origin[]
There was a farm back in 1521 in Turkey, İzmir (the city as of current 2025-05-03). It was owned by a guy named Yalnız Ezik, a man in his 40s who was known for animal-slaughter. The man's farm was doing great until it's came for another animal check-up due to his occupation as a seller.
It was December 21st, 11:38PM when the man was stocking his trailer with all kinds of animals, two cows.. Four pigs and two sheep with their newborn baby. The owner didn't notice anything unusual until his car started freaking out due to the man experiencing some sort of radioactive reaction.
He tried to control the car but came to a fail when it crashed deep in his own farm. The man was not known to be sickly, therefore he came to a halt at one's attempt of driving the car to the vet.
He slowly stepped out of the wrecked truck and checked up on the passengers. Only one alive.
The man then noticed something odd. The smallest sheep had the smallest feet. But not 4, there were 5 of them. Four as normal and the fifth peeking out the ribcage, opening it as if the lamb's front organs didn't matter. He thought of the creature as of a demonic birth and once better, the next day of December 22nd, he brought the weak sheep to his slaughterhouse.
The lamb was disoriented, barely moving on it's tiny legs, but the slaughterer locked it up nonetheless. Behind a wooden fence with a rope, raising it up in the air for better measuring. The farmer got his captive bolt pistol ready and the lamb bleated for the last time before getting straightened up by the rope under it.
Soon, the lamb was no longer alive.
And so, the gruesome murderer felt at ease.. That didn't last for more than 50 seconds. Everything started to shake and he was unsure as of what was going on. The previous seconds he felt perfectly fine, excluding the dizziness in the car, and now he was down on the ground like the same lamb he had just killed.
The next day, found by the health-inspector, the man gagged at the sight. An undead man with his fingers replaced with a large bone that seemed to be growing skin and muscle mass on it. The same farmer now looked like something from the very pits of hell.
The farm was locked up and everything was disposed off, the health inspector was now attending therapy sessions for quite awhile, until the bubonic plague.
1522. A second wave of the Black Death was confirmed. It killed over hundreds of thousands in Asia, and now it was slowly spreading through Europe. Not one or few people reported on seeing their loved ones die with more extensions than they remember, and so it was confirmed that the second wave of the Plague was released by a worm called Daemonica Transvectrix. A parasite that fed off fat and recreated the vessels' body parts on the most bizarre places.
At times, the victims relatives reported of their pets or other relatives being sexually assaulted by the person or the animal infected with the bubonic plague. That was after they've developed a second an unnecessary limb.
Description[]
The parasite is a 41 meters long transparent worm that has the power to get under one's skin physically. It weights only 41 milligrams, therefore barely noticeable to the victims. It's known to have used a fish, a reptile and a lamb for it's transportation until it reached the homo-sapiens. The fish had 4 heads and one gill, the reptile's torso had broken down from the loss of fat and it had a single leg under it's head replacing the neck. While the lamb looked the most normal, it had it's front bones separated, revealing the lungs and the heart, a leg growing out of it's liver. For the humans, the first ever victim (The farmer) had his fingers replaced by a second genital.
Even though it's 41 meters long, the parasite remains unnoticed due to being extremely skinny and able to bite it's own body off without killing itself. Leaving the invisible tail rot on the ground most of the time. The rotten ashes look like dust particles, therefore it's barely noticeable to be a foreign body to anyone's house or body.
Abilities[]
Parasitic Infection[]
The parasite can easily travel from body to body as long as it has some sort of contact with an infected host (or directly with the parasite itself). This could be through infected fluids, fabrics or even physical touch. It's made even more dangerous by it's ability to slip through even the smallest of holes to enter a new host.
Polymelia[]
The parasite can grow an extra limb or other body parts. This can also be done in multiple sets.
- Extension Removal - The parasite can detach its own tail if necessary, re-growing it for later use.
Aquatic Breathing[]
The parasite has unnatural mutations, including how it can receive oxygen from its hosts. Unlike regular parasites - both on land and underwater - it has no necessity for oxygen, creating the allusion that it can breathe underwater.
Immortality[]
The parasite is considered to be "undead. This is due to the extent of possible methods of disposing the parasite proving to be almost completely ineffective. As well as this, given the severity of the infection rate, the mortality rate and near immediate effect it has on the host's brain, it proves to be more challenging to treat, let alone cure.

People who have the worm report of having these symptoms:
- Excessive diarrhea
- Feeling disoriented or weak
- Dizziness
- Fainting
- Sudden thoughts relating to paranoia/obsession
- Feeling of being watched
- Feeling of being unclean
- Reinforce staying in one particular spot/habitat (mostly occurs for bathtubs or beds)
- Starvation
- Weight loss
- Lack of appetite
- Coughing or vomiting blood
- Painful cramps in random parts of the body
