Polly Baker, known as Immortal Polly, is the main character of the Creepypasta story: Immortal Polly - Polly's school life was ordinary and very boring, however, as with all ninth graders.
Origin[]
Before the eighth grade, she broke her back and spent the entire school year in the hospital, and after that she stayed at home. The girl had no idea what was in their class and what had changed there, so she was afraid to go back to school. During this time, her classmates became strangers and strangers to her. When she returned, no one paid any attention to her except her best friend Emily. The girls talked a lot about everything in the world. Emily said she even managed to find a common language with the upstarts from their class. According to her, they have changed and become more normal.
A couple of days later, classmate Logan Brown shows his long-hidden feelings for Polly. Emily didn't like it and tried to threaten Polly through her friends, but Polly said they were just friends. On the girl's birthday, Logan invited her for a walk and presented her with a beautiful chain with a pendant, after which he hugged Polly. They wanted to take another walk, but Mom told her to go home. Logan offered to accompany Polly, but she refused. Along the way, the girl meets Emily's friends, and later Emily herself. Out of jealousy of the guy, Emily and her friends beat up Polly. Then the girl finally grabbed a sharp stone and threw it into Polly's left eye. The girls run away from this place, leaving Polly alone. She could not survive the only and first conflict in her life between classmates and her former best friend. She was killed at her own request, at the hands of Midnight Jade.
Three days later, she returns to the same alley and kills Emily.
Appearance[]
She has: brown hair cut in a square, amber eyes (her left eye is missing), white/grayish skin with scars all over the body, and cheeks sewn with random threads. Her long nails - which she can grow any length - can be used as weaponry against her victims. She sports a black sports top, red tight dress with long sleeves and open shoulders, as well as slightly torn black tights.
Personality[]
Polly never started a conversation first and with new faces behaved quite so and modestly and tightly. She talked tirelessly with her friends, relatives and those she knew well. Now she has a changeable nature. She can easily get angry, but she will never cry anymore.
Diseases/Disorders[]
Polly suffers from: negative twin syndrome, split personality, misanthropy, misophonia and autism. Previously: suicidal behavior.
- Negative Twin Syndrome: a psychopathological disorder in which the patient is convinced that someone from his environment (husband, wife, parents, etc.) has been replaced by his double ("a symptom of a negative double"), or when the patient takes unknown persons for acquaintances, relatives ("a symptom of a positive double").
- Misanthropy: A form of personality disorder characterized by dislike of people, up to hatred.
- Misophonia: Everyday sounds: dripping faucet, slurping or clicking a ballpoint pen, can irritate you or even cause a panic attack.
- Autism: Children with autism think differently than ordinary kids. They understand everything, but they cannot express their emotions due to a violation of social interaction.
Additional Background Information[]
Her mother divorced her father because he did not appreciate the family and there were frequent domestic and financial difficulties, quarrels. Polly, Leah and their mother were better off without a father. They lived happily.
After her death, three days later, Polly woke up in the gatehouse in the cemetery, next to the corpse of the caretaker. Polly couldn't understand why she had suddenly woken up. The girl just got up and found her grave, and next to it a shovel. She took it and went to take revenge on her former best friend Emily. In fact, she was revived by the brother of Midnight Jade (the girl who killed her) - Kendall Harris. He dug Polly's grave, opened the coffin, sewed up the wounds on her face and neck, left her a needle and thread and performed the ritual. This was the first time he had tried to revive the dead, and therefore he had no hope. As it turned out, he succeeded, but he only found out about it when he often noticed Polly next to Jade. Since Kendall is a demon, he specifically added Polly's ability to hurt victims with a look. He also added disorders to it: negative twin syndrome, split personality and misanthropy for living, normal people. Polly has misophonia and autism since birth. Passed down from father. Kendall needed this in order for Jade to have at least some communication or a friend, although she no longer needed them. Polly is just a partner for Jade.
Polly is very grateful to Jade for fulfilling her request. "Kill me," the girl said, to which Jade could not turn away and leave. Now Polly follows Jade like a fan. She looks from behind a tree or from around the corner of the house no longer with fear, as when they first met, but with admiration. She loves her and considers her her best friend. Polly is imbued with her story and is always ready to support Jade. She has a bad relationship with Kendall. The girl despises him and considers him the most vile creature of all (because he ruined Jade's life, and Polly hates such people). Kendall has already regretted the resurrection of Polly, because she attracts Jade's attention. Even on nerves, he cut off her right hand with a saw, but then the girl asked Jade to sew it back on.
