Origins
Thomas Clay was only 15 years old when he and his brother, Lance, went to Colorado to visit their grand mother, Lara. During the trip, the car broke down and the two were in the middle of nowhere. Thomas was looking for someone to help them and Lance was trying to fix the car.
After what seemed hours of searching, Thomas found a shack that was owned by some local farmers. He opened the door he saw some tools and took them, mumbling to himself:
'Well, I'm gonna give them back when we're done''
When he was about to leave the shack, something caught his eye. A button hidden below the table where the tools where placed. Thomas was a really curious boy, he slammed the button and right after he pressed the button some sound similiar to metal grinding on other metal could be heard and an elevator came up in the middle of the shack.
Thomas was a bit worried but he entered the elevator and he pressed the down button, He was slowly going down but at a certain point the elevator became faster, Thomas was caught off guard and almost fell to the ground, but there was an handlebar he held to. the elevator doors opened and a blinding light stunned him, he massages his eyes and exits the elevator he yelled:
'HELLO?! ANYBODY HERE?!''
His voice echoed across the what seemed to be a facility, he tought it was abadoned but it was so clean and the electricity still worked, after roaming for a few minutes, he found the bar, nobody was in there. He grabbed a bag of chips and opened it, while eating the chips he noticed a sign with something written on it:
''Test subjects on the left, bathroom on the right.''
Thomas got up and went to the door on the left, where the test subjects were located, he then tried pushing the door but it was locked, he needed a badge to enter. He searched the bar and in the kitchen of the bar there was a path of what seemed blood and guts leading to a dark corner in the room. Thomas was shaking, he reached for his phone and used the flashlight mode.
It was a scientist's body, It was headless and the stomach was open with blood still coming out. He saw a badge on his neck that said:
''Dr. Fred Tucker
senior scientist''
Thomas vomited in the sink and was truly horrified at such a gory sight, he reached for a kitchen knife and took the badge, using it while he was reaching for the door.
He felt a touch on his shoulder, he turned pale from the fear and slowly looked behind him. It was the scientist but this time, he had a strane, giant cockroach on his head. Thomas screamed and feel on his butt. He was in shock for a few seconds, then swallowed his spit, grabbed the knife and slashed the insect with it. The animal fell to the floor, Thomas washed his hands from the mixture of blood and yellow liquid that came out of the insect and drank some water mixed with sugar.
He ran, never looking back. When her arrived at the elevator, there was no way to open it, he roamed the facility in search of someone or an exit, but he didn't find anything at all, just a gun and some bullets from one of the guards. He roamed for days and days, eating only beans and drinking sink water that tasted like glue. He couldn't do it anymore, he decided to use the gun on himself, but when he was about to pull the trigger, he heard what seemed to be his brother's voice. He teared up and ran closer to the voice, then the voice stopped.
Thomas was in front of a dark room, he didn't think twice. He grabbed his phone and walked in the room. It was just a hallucination. He cried unil his eyes were red and bloated, he coudn't do it anymore, he went insane and after some weeks, he finished his food, he began eating the insects that roamed the facility. When he was scouting for more insects to eat, he found another body.
Thomas was starving and that corpse suddenly felt so.... tasty. He began feasting on the corpse, he was ripping the flesh with his nails, that now became claws, he turned into a monster. Once he was done, he ate another one that was close to the first one. He didn't seem to care that he was following a path of corpses, he just wanted to eat.
When the trail of corpses finished, he found himself in a semi-dark room. Suddenly, the door behind him closed and the lights turned on. He closed his eyes because the lights where too bright for him, when he opened them, he saw a mirror.
A pale tall person with little to no hair and with claws was shown, the figure didn't have any shirt, just his trousers that were covered in blood, just like their chest. Thomas screamed, since he was terrorized by such monstrosity. But as he moved, the figure imitated him. He started crying and fell to his knees, a camera zoomed on him and a voice coming from a speaker said:
''Thomas Clay, subject 2035, sold by family member: Lance Clay for 4.000.000,00 US dollars''
