Origin[]
Anika grew up in a poor village. Therefore, her parents were desperate for her to get married to a rich man, as the large family (Consisting of her mother, father, older brother, older sister, herself and her younger sister.) Her brother and sister already had moved out, so the duty of bringing wealth to the family fell onto Anika, the second youngest. Determined not to let her parents down, Anika frequently stole things to make herself seem richer than she was, to get an upper-class man to notice her. She wasn't interested in looks or personality of her "date," but the amount of money they had, half to help her family, half to get herself more liked. In her eyes, money defined a person- and her family as well.
When she turned 17, she met a rich man named John. He was interested in her looks, and was unaware that she was, in reality, a poor girl from the village. She lied about her family when he wanted to meet her parents, saying her parents were dead and her siblings were in a different country. John believed her lies and proposed, which she accepted. A few months after they got married, John died. After the autopsy, it was revealed that he had been poisoned. Anika was called in for questioning, but being a malicious liar, she managed to claim she had never been in the house. There were no witnesses, so nobody could prove she was. Anika inherited a fair share of John's money, as well as his family. She quickly remarried and the same thing happened again. And again. Within a year, she had married four different men and they had all mysteriously died, each leaving her mounds of money. When she had married her fifth husband, the family butler saw her slipping a pill into her husband's cup of tea and reported her to the police, where she was arrested. The pattern of deaths came up and Anika was sentenced to life in prison, where she attempted to justify her actions by saying she just wanted a bit more respect in society. It is believed that Anika (Nicknamed Gold digger by society) escaped one night during a riot, and as there have been no murders that look like hers, where she is is unknown.
Appearance[]
Anika has red hair, blue eyes and freckles, and in her mugshot she is seen wearing a purple, old-fashioned dress, blue high-heeled shoes and white gloves. She also has a purple hat.
Method of Killing[]
Putting lethal poison/pills into her current "Husband's" drink.
Personality[]
Gold Digger has a calm, slightly snobbish personality. She never really showed any signs of craziness during her murder period, and owned up to the murders she had done without being forced in court.
