“ | But... you PROMISED me that if I did YOUR dirty work for you, you'd raise my mother from the dead, right? Wasn't that the whole plan?! | „ |
~ Ellie confronting Zalgo about not exchanging the deed he agreed to during the deal he made with her. |
Origin[]
Ellie was once your average teenage girl; she had loving parents, one of those fun-loving whine aunts you'd see on TV, some loyal & some gossipy friends, a quite spacious house in the suburbs, and, of course, her insecurities that came with being a human. Although, as the years progressed, her father distanced himself from Ellie and her mother, never telling them what might've been going on, why he was acting odd, or if he even still wanted to be there.
Although, Ellie knew there was something wrong, she never questioned it aloud; she casually kept her thoughts to herself. And even if Ellie still loved her father dearly, there was no doubt she was upset. On the other hand, Kumiko, Ellie's mother, was verbal about how concerns for Mark, yet he told her that everything was perfectly fine, perfectly normal, and that she's overreacting. Kumiko, being the smart woman that she was, wasn't buying it, not one little bit. Out of resentment, she began to ignore Mark, too.
With a family that became more and more dysfunctional as the days passed, Ellie would lock herself in her room for long hours, refusing to come out unless it was to go to school or eat dinner, slowly losing herself day-by-day. She had forgotten about all of her friends, any of the upsides to her everyday life. All Ellie would do, was sleep, sleep and write about random scenarios of a life she's always wanted. She also wrote suicide notes to her family and letters to her former friends about how sorry she was. But, no matter how depressed Ellie had gotten, she couldn't bring herself to take her own life. She eventually turned to marijuana to weed out the feelings of numbness and uselessness.
Kumiko felt her life falling at her feet, with a husband who ignores her and a self-loathing, suicidal teenage daughter. The only person that she knew she could trust to tell about all of this, was her light-hearted, endearing younger sister, Tomoko. Tomoko was always there for her sister through thick and thin. From her laidback personality to her upbeat speeches, there wasn't anything that Tomoko couldn't do to help take Kumiko's mind off of her harsh surroundings by entertaining her.
(This isn't finished!)
Personality[]
Ellie was an optimistic, grateful young girl who wanted nothing more than to make her parents proud. She always put her heart & soul into everything she did, even if it was considered too challenging. Sometimes, Ellie even lost hope in herself, which resulted in longer periods of isolation. One thing about Ellie that she's emotionally impulsive, hence the murder of her father & aunt.
After Ellie was possessed by Zalgo, she became an irrationally angry & uncontrollably murderous servant. She's unable to do anything at her own will, and every once in a blue moon, Zalgo will let her visit her mother's grave.
