‘Til death do us part...
~ Clover

Clover of the Dark Field, otherwise known as Clover, is a lost soul reincarnated into a permanent reminder of her sins. She has been sent down onto Earth to redeem herself of her sins until she can accept God's authority over her afterlife. While her physical appearance may seem powerful, it isn't immortal compared to other angels and is still harmed by physical contact (which can fatally wound her if severe damage is caused).

Personality[]

Despite her angelic appearance to others encountering her, Clover isn't exactly perfect. She's quite short-tempered and is usually known for her aggressive behaviour even towards babbling babies.

Clover tried to seem nice and caring but, if there is a minor confrontation, she can become a ticking time-bomb ready to explode on anyone and anything in her path. Clover may use a facade to help tolerate annoyance, ignorance, and anything she views as a liability within her journey.

Appearance[]

Depending on the form she may wish to take, the features she holds may vary. But, in a general sense, Clover has a mixture of darkened pebble hair with paper-thin blank or creamy skin. Her eye colour usually differs with her angelic and human form, with the human form seeming to be slate and her angelic appearance

Origin[]

Clover was never truly believed within the family due to the dysfunctional parent type of mother not wishing to take the responsibility of raising her children correctly and allowing Clover to take over in her absence.

Clover was easily seen more as a personal babysitter, cook, cleaner and parent 24/7, whilst still being pressured into caring for her own brothers, attending school, getting decent grades, going to college, etc.

Eventually, when one of her siblings (Aron) reaches a certain age and hasn't been taught the correct morals (as Clover herself wasn't a good teacher at the time), he finds that Clover is in the spotlight for attention, the center-piece for all to see the success she gained for herself.

Then, flying into a rage after the mother soon attempts to rekindle the relationship with Clover as she attempts to reach out to her father, the sibling's jealousy turns to both anger and malicious intent. With an idea storming in his head about what must be done to prove that he deserved the attention, Aron had led Clover out along with Seth and a few of Aron's friends from high-school (as to not seem too suspicious) on a camping trip.

During Seth's attempt to set up the tents, Aron and his friends had "gone fishing" with Clover. All seemed to be going smoothly, with Clover even introducing herself politely to his friends who, in return, introduced themselves back. However, when they began to pull the boat back onto the shore, Clover noticed one of the oars striking her but, with the surprise of the attack, she was unable to defend herself to the attack against her forehead, leading to her falling into some form of shock (and becoming unconscious).

When Clover awoke, hours later, she could see nothing but darkness itself. As she attempted to search around herself, she found that her movement was halted by wooden walls surrounding her, like a hardened box of some sort. It was then that reality settled in...as the last sound she could hear before she succumbed to the darkness was the loud and obnoxious laughter of Aron and his friends. Despite what could be assumed of Clover, she had instead died due to blood loss (as it seems she lost her life far too soon for the lack of water nor food to kick in) which could easily be proven by her external wounds causing internal bleeding.

She found herself within a blinding light before grand, golden gates began to open for her, with two pure beings in robes standing either side. They welcomed Clover through the gates as they guided her to God Himself who had been fairly placed in the center of judgement. Clover had received an unfair sentence of death by a family member, but she herself refused to have further contact with Aron upon her graduation. So, as an attempt to redeem her soul to enter Heaven, she must gain Aron's forgiveness for her neglect as well as her learning to find sense and forgiveness in Aron's actions against her.

Formations[]

Human Form - Her appearance is similar to that of an apparition, with her skin resembling the white specks of snow during winter and her eyes lacking much colour (the simplest colour you could relate to is the shade known as slate). Her hair seems to be gradually deteriorating due to the lack of much hydration, causing the colorization of the strands to become a tangled mess of pebble grey strands thickened with grease. The nails she has are far from decent, with some that rotten, they fall off upon her making direct contact with objects using her fingers. From afar, it isn't too visible but, upon a closer investigation, she mostly may use this form to scare off unwanted company.

"Angel" Form - Consisting of more beautiful skin, this appearance is how she might look when hidden from the public eye. Her skin has slight a colour to it, being less blank but more vanilla. Her nails restore themselves and her hair becomes...less tangled supposedly. Curled and free from the majority of the build-up of grease and excess gunk clumping her hair strands into one, her hair has a more natural colour of chestnut brown with a smooth texture.

Wings and a halo were unfortunately out of the question upon her day of judgement with God, as He viewed her indecent to be seen as the same being to angels. Instead, she has a slightly torn lemon robe, and severely damaged wings that give her horrible, sharp aches when she attempts to fly using them.

Animalistic Form - Despite her hatred for such a creature, the snake commonly labelled as banded water cobra (or Naja annulata) is the only formation into an animal she can take. Perhaps due to her sins against her own kind, she was forced to have this form relating to her ignorance and tempting behaviour towards sinners (similar to that of Lucifer tempting Adam and Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, leading to the original sin being embedded into humanity).

Her appearance for this form consists of a large, heavy-bodied snake with a short, broad and flat head. It has medium-sized dark eyes with round pupils. The body is cylindrical and the tail is long. The scales are smooth and glossy, in 21-23 rows at mid-body. She, in this form, is an excellent swimmer and is capable of remaining under water for up to 10 minutes and diving to depths of 25m. Sadly, she is a slow mover on land, so she tries to remain hidden among rocks, in holes, or overhanging tree roots at shorelines.

Facts[]

  • The creator of this Creepypasta is ZLS114881.
  • Clover is believed to have died by the age of around 25 years old, maybe even younger.
    • While her human form is nothing more than morbid, her angel form seems to stick with the appearance similar to a young woman, free from rotting flesh and decaying nails.
  • She cannot remain in each form permanently (as each form is available for use at least a total of 2-4 hours maximum before having a cooldown of an hour when used).
    • The formations themselves cause some discomforting pain towards Clover but, over the months/years of experiencing the pain to transform, she has learnt to cope.
  • It is unknown if Seth has ever seen or encountered Clover in her forms, nor is there much of an answer towards her mother (who sent out a search party upon her disappearance from work after a few weeks without notice).
    • Upon the police turning up empty handed without concluding evidence towards her disappearance, Clover was presumed deceased and a funeral was held for her soon after her case was closed.
  • Clover's father was never heard from until Clover's disappearance case arrived with him becoming a worthy suspect.
    • He was taken into custody upon the police finding numerous letters within her room addressed to J.R but, when searching his home and other areas he had visited, he was released without charge due to the lack of evidence supporting the claim. Nobody has seen the man since then and reportedly, out of guilt for leaving her behind, took his life three weeks after Clover's death had been announced.
