[EVENT CLOSED]

Now, since this has been voted in favor of the event, we will be officially hosting certain dates and deadlines for voting in favorites from across the pages of the Creepypasta Files Wiki. During this page's development, different categories for awards will be given to certain pages/characters as well as their creators.

Badges - This can be for Featured Characters depending on the quality of the page made, for both Creepypasta stories and poems. But, this can also lead to a certain template for winners on their own user profile pages.

Requests - This can be for runner-ups and honorable mentions made by the close votes, which will mostly involve certain staff members (e.g CriticizerHere, Black Bullet235) and/or the winners of these awards being given certain requests behind developing their current creations into something greater.

Voting - CriticizerHere and Black Bullet235 have agreed that voting's dead-line should be by late August. They hope that the Awards Night will be held by late September, or during the month of October. To vote you simply write on this page: I nominate ______ for Best _______.

WARNING

The staff team will be making sure that the voting system stays fair and reasonable, so any signs of harassment and bullying for the choices of the users will be noted, therefore making the person's vote invalid if caught harassing others for their votes.

Creation Awards (Categories)

Best Creepypasta Story

This award is given to the most voted story for its fluency, originality, realism, and accuracy throughout each paragraph written. The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal character design.

Best Creepypasta Poem

This award is given to the most voted story for its fluency, originality, realism, and accuracy throughout each stanza written. The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal style and/or format.

Best OC (Original Creation)

This award is given to the most voted OC character (normal users and staff creations can be candidates for this category). However, spin-off/gender-bent characters will not be candidates for this category (such as Laughing Jill, Nina The Killer, Eyeless Jezebel, etc). Please speak to one of the staff members if you have any concerns about a certain candidate made. The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal character design.

Best Staff Creepypasta (Admins/Bureaucrats & Content Moderators)

This award is given to the most voted creation by Content Moderators, Administrators, Bureaucrats, etc (just for fairness, content moderator creations will have their own category too just-in-case confusion happens since there isn't a category currently). This is solely for staff creations, normal user creations as well as the staff members themselves cannot be placed into this category. The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal character design.

Best Supernatural Creepypasta

Fairly obvious, but this award is given to creations that don't include humans gifted supernatural powers and had to transform in some way. This is solely for birthed supernatural characters and developed into one from a cursed/blessed origin (aka, already made creations of the unnatural, such as demons, angels, witches, etc). The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal character design.

Best Proxy/Proxies Creepypasta

Solely Proxies of both the supernatural/human realm. Assassins and killers in general do NOT count for this one. The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal character design.

Best Anti-Hero Creepypasta

This is for characters that fight on the side of good but aren't fully embraced into the hero side. This can also go for characters that were once evil but have redeemed themselves. The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal character design.

Best Anti-Villain Creepypasta

Creepypasta characters who are considered evil or immoral due to their actions seeming villainous yet, they seem to have their heart in the right place in terms of good is for this award. This doesn't go towards Proxies who are forced to do what they must but are still sentient and have their moral compass mostly skewed by the corrupting influence. The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal character design.

Best Comedy & Jokepasta

This is a comedic Creepypasta character who isn't meant to be creepy and/or realistic but rather voted for the level of comedy the Jokepasta produces. These characters are meant to be jokes or funny, not really actual Creepypasta characters. Hey, everyone needs a good laugh once in a while! The creator is often given a badge on their page about their creation being a prime example of great content/ideal character design.

Rules For Voting

  1. One vote per award - You can have a certain vote for each creation within one category. However, you cannot have multiple votes within the same category, it is one per award I'm afraid. And please, don't force yourself to have alts just so one creation can win for each award you want, otherwise, any alt accounts, as well as your main account vote, will be invalidated.
  2. Self-made creations - You can have a vote towards your own creations, however, you can only vote for one creation that you have made for the awards as to make it fair on other people within the awards. So, sadly, this does mean that only one of your creations can be a candidate for the awards.
  3. Respect other's votes - Even if someone chooses a creation you may not enjoy, please be mindful that your vote is just as equal as someone else's vote. If anyone is caught attempting to harass someone for their vote just because, their vote will be invalidated and/or their creation within the voting system.
