Jane the Killer

Ya'll is it valid that I prefer using Jane Arkensaw opposed to Jane Richardson? I'm well aware that the OG Jane the Killer is Jane Richardson and that her story is much different to Jane Arkensaw's, and I am accepting that Jane Arkensaw is a rewrite of the original. However, the version I am used to is the rewrite and not the "canon" Jane, since thats the version I heard when I first got into the fandom, and that was the version I ended up sticking with. I'm asking this because I feel (this is my opinion and not fact-) as if a lot of people will pick fights over this and I really don't want to cause any trouble. I am just stating my choice and I hope it won't make others upset.

I’ve heard of like there being 3 Jane’s. Arkansaw, Richardson, and Everlasting. I’m wondering if all of them exist in one universe or if their just different universes? It kinda confuses me just to think if they all just exist in the fandom just like that like if all 3 of them are just right there standing next to each other just existing. Are they all just different universes or all they all just in the same universe?

Jane's original backstory, "Born of Science," is outdated, and the creator wrote her a new one that's available on the creator's Patreon page.

I just started reading it, and in the very first paragraph, Jane is seducing some guy...which I thought was quite strange.

Alright, so, Nina The Killer huh.

Well, first I'd like to say I don't like either version. That is just an opinion and I'll explain why I think quite a few people think the same.

1. The first Nina is quite literally as stated in the notice. A simple carbon copy off of an already existing character. (Which is Jeff.)

2. Nina's original appearance speaks for itself, it's as said above.

3. Her revamp as some people have said is similar to that of Jane The Killers-- Family got killed, now seeks revenge, Hubadubado. Blabla.

4. I do like her new appearance look-wise, but in some logic, why would she need the brace on her leg? (I'm asking this before her English story is put on the page)-- Would this make it hard for her to run?

Metafictional characters do exist in Creepypasta, some examples are Jane The Killer (could breach the fourth wall, exist beyond 6D dimensions) Jeff (same thing as Jane) Laughing Jack (can exist as a concept in your head, therefore transcending itself) Slenderman (can access stories about himself and read them.) and many more.

Metafiction has been recently explored in Creepypasta: Blood Red Roses, it’s a good read and you should all check it out if you wanna see what happens when the line between fiction and reality is blurred.

Overall, metafictional horror should 100% be explored more, and I encourage any authors here to write about it.
